Product Design and Development - Apparel Color Designer 3

Salary Range: $45-50
Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Apparel Color Designer to join our team at a leading sportswear company. This role is integral in developing seasonal color design and direction for basketball apparel, covering signature, branded, and licensed products. The ideal candidate will be a versatile creative problem solver with a passion for sports and an ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years minimum experience in a similar role
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good foundation and knowledge of textiles
Proficiency in Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom
Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Strong presentation skills
Experience with both footwear and apparel
Ability to translate consumer insights into compelling stories

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead the Basketball Apparel team in creating unique collections across Men’s and Women’s products on a seasonal basis
Develop comprehensive storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments
Collaborate with Product Management teams to build engaging, trend-driven narratives
Partner with Development teams to communicate design intent and assist with schematic creation and prototype workshops
Manage and design presentation materials and present concepts to teams and leadership
