Join us in the journey of creating moments worth remembering and sharing.What You'll DoAssisting the servers and bartenders and running food to tablesClearing and resetting tables after guests leaveTaking tableware to dish-room and placing silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washingPromptly cleaning tabletops, chairs, and booths and checking the floor and cleaning as requiredResetting and arranging tabletopObtaining service area assignment at the beginning of each shiftPromptly greeting guests as they are seated and bringing bread, butter, and water to the tableResponding appropriately to guest requestsCommunicating guest requests to the server as neededCommunicating with the server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer servicePrepping service inventory: cutting butter and filling ramekins, cleaning trash cans, bus tubs for bars, and filling ice binsEnsuring spills are cleaned up quickly, with as little disturbance to the guest as possibleAssisting the server, when possible, with food delivery, removing used tableware between courses, and providing tableware for the next course, especially with large parties and during peak periodsThanking guests as they are leavingBeing available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorQualificationsPrior restaurant experience preferredMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplaceMust have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a teamMust be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 poundsMust maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per TGA standardsMust follow safety procedures closelyMust be able to work on holidays and/or weekendsThe Global Ambassador is an Equal Opportunity & E-Verify Employer.
