Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Sanford, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (7P - 7A), with every other weekend and some holidays required.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency nursing and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a dynamic emergency setting.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Assist in the management of trauma and medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of nursing care standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications, and de-escalation training (HWC, CPI, or MAB).
• PALS certification preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
