This role applies pricing science, analytics, and market research to balance customer value with business objectives while supporting cross-functional commercial initiatives. This position is hybrid two days a week out of our Mendota Heights corporate office.Essential FunctionsPrepare and recommend pricing strategies, guardrails, and discount frameworks to achieve targeted market positions across customer segments, geographies, and product portfoliosConduct market and competitive research to understand pricing trends, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable pricing recommendationsAnalyze cost structures, demand drivers, and margin impacts to support pricing/tariff development and ensure profitable pricing outcomesDesign, implement, and maintain pricing models, tools, and infrastructure, including standardized pricing guidelines and segmentation logicEvaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and promotions through analytical modeling and performance measurement; recommend adjustments to improve revenue, margin, or market shareDevelop pricing scenario analyses to assess the business impact of pricing changes and support decision-making for new and existing productsPrepare and deliver pricing reports, documentation, and insights for internal stakeholders; serve as a point of contact for internal sales pricing inquiriesComply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience2 years of related experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or a similar commercial roleKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with pricing analytics, price architecture, pricing science or revenue optimization techniquesAnalytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret complex data into insightsEffective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholdersAttention to detail and accuracy in data analysisSound judgment and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and cross-functionallyProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting capabilitiesTravel RequirementsThis position does not require travelWhat's In It For You:We provide competitive benefits, unique incentive programs and rewards for our eligible employees:Full Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits and an integrated Wellness Program401(k) Match Retirement Savings PlanPaid Time Off (PTO)Holiday Pay & Floating HolidaysVolunteer Time Off (VTO)Educational Assistance ProgramFull Paid Parental and Adoption LeaveLifeWorks (Employee Assistance Program)Patterson Perks ProgramThe potential compensation range for this role is below.
