Textile Production Operator

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Creeler in Thomaston, GA . In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will be responsible for supporting production operations by loading thread packages onto creels, using a manual pallet jack, and keeping materials organized and ready for production. This is a great opportunity to get started in a manufacturing environment with the opportunity to learn and grow into the full Creeler position. - Loading and placing thread packages onto creels for production
- Frequently lifting thread packages weighing approximately 7 lbs - 25 lbs.
- Using a manual pallet jack to move materials
- Climbing small ladders to safely access and place packages on higher creels.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack or willingness to learn
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required.
- $16+ per hour depending on experience.
