Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: South Carolina RN license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required Must-Have: IV start skills Ability to circulate procedures Telemetry experience Conscious sedation experience Hemodynamic monitoring experience PACS experience preferred Description: The position is for a Cath Lab RN, working in a procedural area with adult patients. Candidates will provide pre and post care for various cardiac and vascular disease processes. The schedule is dayshift from Monday to Friday with occasional evening, night, weekend, and holiday call. The role includes working in the Interventional Radiology holding department. Required skills include starting IVs, circulating procedures, and monitoring telemetry. Experience in conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring is essential. Additional skills preferred include familiarity with PACS and related technologies. Candidates must not have any licensure actions or background issues. Meditech EMR experience is preferred but not mandatory for this position. The facility requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and radiation safety measures. Candidates may be floated within the hospital as needed based on staffing requirements. Availability for weekend coverage is expected as part of the role.
