Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Agent is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving revenue through proactive sales activities.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Create and implement strategies to meet KPI goals.
- Identify new clients through various methods, including market research and networking.
- Use product knowledge and industry expertise to address customer needs effectively.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding products, their applications, and industry information.
- Provide customers with information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sale, and service agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse managers, and staff to ensure accurate and timely order processing and distribution.
- Manage and maintain the customer database efficiently.
- Prepare and report on sales results, account status, leads, and competitive information to the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year in Inside Sales/Account Management within the B2B industrial distribution sector.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred for promotion.
- Must pass Pre-Employment Screening.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation capabilities.
- Solid business acumen with a thorough understanding of technical products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Navision is preferred.

Location: South Bend, IN

on-site M-F 8:30-5 pm

Salary: $50-55k + commission
