We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing medical clinic team. Our clinic provides a combination of family practice, wellness, concierge, and preventative healthcare services. This position requires a team-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and willing to cross-train in both clinical and front office responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care and wellness-focused medicine.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 4 days per week
• Clinic hours may vary based on patient needs and provider schedules

Clinical Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for provider evaluation
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and chief complaints
• Administer injections, immunizations, and other medications as ordered
• Perform IV therapy and assist with wellness infusions
• Perform EKGs and other in-office diagnostic testing
• Assist providers with exams and procedures
• Draw blood and collect laboratory specimens as needed
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and wellness services
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Monitor and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety protocols
• Assist with family practice and wellness-related services as needed

Front Desk / Administrative Responsibilities

• Cross-train to assist front desk operations
• Answer phones and assist with patient communication
• Schedule appointments and verify patient information
• Check patients in and out
• Assist with patient intake forms and documentation
• Process payments and maintain professionalism with all patient interactions
• Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Qualifications

• Current Texas LVN license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Experience in family practice, primary care, wellness, or concierge medicine preferred
• IV therapy experience preferred or willingness to train
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Comfortable working with wellness and preventative health services
• EMR experience preferred
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to assist patients and perform clinical procedures safely
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical setting
