Key Position Details Location: 303 Catlin St, Buffalo, MN 55313-1947 Shift: Permanent nights, 8‑hour shift, every weekend Hours: 36 per week (24 hours worked, paid for 36) Employment: 0.9 FTE (72 hours per two‑week pay period) Starting bonus: $7,500 available for eligible external talent Union status: Non‑Union (NCT) Job Description Perform diagnostic radiological imaging in multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, general radiology, nuclear medicine, diagnostic sonography, or mammography, as directed by providers and radiologists. Provide timely and quality service while maintaining a safe, efficient, and economical environment. Responsibilities Complete procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines. Identify patients with two identifiers. Document accurately all aspects of the procedure. Observe and communicate with patients, responding to needs. Maintain a safe patient environment in the procedure area. Perform procedures with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment. Maintain work knowledge and competence. Gather all relevant information to assist in image interpretation. Verify all imaging has been transferred to the imaging storage and retrieval system. Provide accurate clerical functions and use Excellian (electronic medical record). Understand the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System. Ensure documentation is complete after the procedure. Communicate with supervisors and team members. Report problems, issues, or ideas, and provide assistance and information to support colleagues. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Vocational or technical training graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology. Licenses/Certifications: For radiologic imaging (XR), CT, MRI, or interventional radiology: Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire. For nuclear medicine: Registered Technologist with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required upon hire. For mammography: Registered Technologist with the ARRT required, current mammography registration or willingness to obtain within one year of hire. For ultrasound: Certified Ultrasound Technologist – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, registered for abdomen or OB/GYN required upon hire. Registered Vascular Technologist – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography for AHG Clinic locations, or for hospital locations registration eligible within 180 days. Must meet at least one of the following: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross. Allina in‑house BLS training (within 30 days of hire). Physical Demands: Medium workload, lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently.
