Supervisory Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Radiology Department DutiesPerforms radiological examinations per request by the medical staff for use in clinical diagnosis, patient screening, monitoring patient therapy and status and other authorized purposes.Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearranges patient priorities to accommodate them.Directly supervises the staff of the radiology department, plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work; assign work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluate work performance.Keeps the Clinical Director, Medical Officers, Administrative staff and Area Consulting Radiologist informed of reports other required communications; assures the radiology equipment is properly maintained and repaired and all related areas are kept in a clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
