Responsibilities Analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues, and develop practical solutions to address them. Design, document, and optimize process flows to improve throughput, reduce waste, and support consistent product quality. Lead and support process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing area, using engineering principles to enhance performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with operations leadership to ensure that process changes align with production goals and operational requirements. Manage and coordinate process-related projects from concept through implementation, including planning, tracking progress, and communicating status to stakeholders. Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flow diagrams. Monitor process performance using relevant metrics and data, and recommend continuous improvements based on findings. Provide technical support to production teams by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and engineering, to introduce new or improved processes into production in a controlled and efficient manner. Essential Skills Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer in a production environment. Strong experience in process improvement, including the ability to analyze and optimize production workflows. Hands-on experience with process management and process engineering in a manufacturing setting. Demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and improve process flows to support efficient and consistent production. Experience in project management related to process changes or manufacturing improvements. Engineering degree or equivalent education in a relevant field. Ability to collaborate effectively with operations leadership and cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production process issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in roles titled Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer. Familiarity with structured process improvement methodologies and tools. Strong communication skills to clearly document processes and explain changes to production teams. Ability to manage multiple process improvement projects simultaneously. Comfort working in a dynamic production environment with evolving priorities. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schofield, WI. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
