Job Title

Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Perform office procedures including billing, bookkeeping and typing/correspondence

Ability to take vital signs, ECG and perform other clinical assistance tasks

Interacts with patients and families in a professional manner

Maintains professionalism while interacting with payors, vendors, insurance, etc.

Qualifications

Requires completion of a Medical Assistant training program or a certification in Medical Assisting

One year related experience preferred

Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and families and collaborate with health team members

CPR certification
