Senior Construction Manager

Construction Manager Location is flexible as this role will be on a project site. Key Responsibilities Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities. Actively work with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget. Lead the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects. Manage subcontractor contracts in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager. Assist Senior Construction Manager and Project Management teams with the change order process, including proper notification and supporting data gathering/organization for Project Manager review and processing. Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate Construction Managers. Actively create a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite. Serve as Project Site Safety Leader in absence of full time EHS Supervisor. Estimate cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project. Assist in planning the execution of startup, commissioning, and closeout processes. Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices. Qualifications & Requirements At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 7+ years of experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects. Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications and interpret data. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing. Knowledge and familiarity with construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods. Travel required (75‑100%). Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include being a confident communicator with the ability to manage quality, schedule, and budget for multi‑discipline fast paced construction projects.
