Maintenance Technician - FULL TIME

Guided by our values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respect, we are committed to delivering meaningful value for shareholders, customers, employees and the communities where we operate.Shift: Nights, 10 pm - 6 amOvertime: 1 Saturday a Month, and both Saturday & Sunday once a quarter.Training: will take several weeks, and will take place during daytime hours.The Electrical Maintenance Technician will have complete involvement in routine or emergency maintenance as well as corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance and care for all electrical and mechanical equipment and their related controls.Shift Available: 3rd Shift Positions, 8-hour shifts.~ Union shop~ Health, Dental and Vision Insurance + Flexible Spending Account / Health Savings Account~ Paid Time Off and Holidays~ Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability~401(k) with company match, and Pension Program~ Overtime Potential~ Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Troubleshooting of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures.Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and devices to determine faults and failures.Regular repair and maintenance are required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds.Uses CMMS system for work order implementation, recordkeeping of daily activities, and planned projects.Functional an operational knowledge, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to obtain a root cause of failures.Functional and operational knowledge, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining of line voltage(120, 240, 277, and 480) equipment, including switches, power supplies, motors, drives and associated controls.Drive and PLC troubleshooting, problem solving and installation.Experience with RS Logix, RS5000 and other drive interfaces software is a plus.Performs preventive maintenance procedures on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment on a scheduled basis; Regular repair and maintenance are required in non-production areas including the warehouse, design lab, building, and grounds.2 - 5 years of Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting experience with focus on electrical/electronic preferred.~ An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes drives, PLCs, VFDs servos, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems. A strong electrical aptitude for drive and PLC trouble shooting.~ Strong problem-solving ability of mechanical and electrical systems.~ A good understanding of heavy rotating equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.~ Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.~ Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment.~ Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
