As an Assistant Nurse Manager Flights - Neonate, you will be responsible for developing, achieving, and maintaining the goals of a Flight for Life NICU program by focusing on the unit or department\'s daily operations. You will need to consistently promote a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. You will collaboratively work with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting hospital initiatives, and ensuring FFL are appropriately staffed. You will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence- based practice and education. Job Requirements Experience Requirements Three (3) years in Level III/IV NICU experience, required Two (2) years previous flight nursing, required Five (5) years combined NICU years, preferred Six (6) months clinical leadership, preferred Education Requirements Bachelor Degree Nursing Required BSN or MSN, required. Masters Degree Nursing, preferred License/Certification Requirements Registered Nurse State of Employment Required RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable. Basic Cardiac Life American Heart, required Neonatal Resuscitation, required upon hire Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) upon hire or within two (2) years Valid Driver License, required Valid driver\'s license and ability to pass the annual review of driving record for safe vehicle operations Must maintain current on all certifications required by Commission for Accreditation of Medical Transport System, required . certificate, preferred, instructor within two (2) years of hire/transfer Physical Requirements Heavy Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Where You'll Work Proudly part of CommonSpirit Health, Flight For Life Colorado was the first civilian, hospital-based emergency medical helicopter program in the United States.
