Position Overview

The Chauffeur (House Car Driver) is responsible for providing safe, discreet, and exceptional transportation services to hotel guests. This role reflects the hotel's luxury standards through professional conduct, impeccable vehicle presentation, and personalized guest service.

What You'll Do

Guest Transportation & Service

• Safely transport guests to and from airports, meetings, restaurants, and local attractions.
• Provide a warm, courteous, and professional greeting for every guest interaction.
• Assist guests with luggage and personal belongings as needed.
• Deliver a smooth, comfortable, and refined transportation experience that aligns with luxury service standards.

Vehicle Care & Readiness

• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of the hotel's luxury vehicle at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to leadership.
• Ensure the vehicle is fully stocked and prepared for guest use.

Route Planning & Efficiency

• Monitor traffic conditions and select the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Stay informed of local events, road closures, and airport activity that may impact travel.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of local roads, destinations, and points of interest.

Professionalism & Discretion

• Maintain strict guest confidentiality and handle all interactions with discretion.
• Represent the hotel brand with professionalism, poise, and attention to detail.
• Remain calm, courteous, and service-focused in all situations.

Administrative & Team Support

• Keep accurate trip logs and follow all hotel transportation procedures.
• Support concierge and front office teams with guest requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
• Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as an essential function of the role.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and safely operate a vehicle for long durations.
• Ability to lift and carry luggage in accordance with hotel standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a chauffeur, house car driver, or luxury transportation driver.
• Experience in five-star hospitality or VIP guest services.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of local roads, airports, and key destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to remain composed and service-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
