Travel Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Overview Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (PED-RRT) – Travel assignment in Orlando, FL. 13‑week placement, 12‑hour nighttime shifts, 36 hours per week. Travel staff required. Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, and maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and lift 20 pounds comfortably. Lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times. Must have good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus). Qualifications 1 year of recent acute care experience. Valid credentials: NBRC‑RRT, BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required. Preferred: 2 years of experience.
