Physical Security Design Engineer and Contract Document Specialist

About the Role: Anthropic's Global Safety, Intelligence, and Security (GSIS) organization is seeking a highly experienced Physical Security Design Lead and Contract Document Specialist to join the Global Design Engineering Construction (DEC) team.

In this role you will author and continuously enhance the contract document basis of design (BOD) and the reusable design templates (drawings, specifications, schedules, and ancillary documents) that drive the consistency and quality of contract documents across Anthropic's global office facility build program. You will serve as the technical authority for access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercommunications, radio, and network systems within the contract document set, working in close partnership with GSIS partners, Real Estate / Workplace, the Network Team, and other cross-functional stakeholders. You will gather lessons from every phase of the project lifecycle, from site/risk assessment through construction, handover, and post-occupancy audits and incident reports, and feed them back into the design documentation, using automations and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate the pace of documentation updates.
