The Esophageal and Airway Treatment Center (EAT) is dedicated to addressing the needs of infants, children, and young adults facing intricate esophageal and airway challenges. This role is designed as a flexible position, which will also involve responsibilities in ambulatory EAT and may extend to other surgical and procedural areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating patient triage and chart reviews to ensure necessary procedures and clinical support for patients and families dealing with both acute and chronic medical needs.
  • Conducting in-person and virtual visits with patients and families, which include gathering patient histories, psychosocial backgrounds, health statuses, and identifying medical issues or potential concerns.
  • Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Committing to a work schedule of 20 hours per week, which includes 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts during the day or evening from Monday to Friday.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
  • A Master of Science in Nursing is required.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner in an acute hospital setting is mandatory.
  • Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential.
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Must hold a Massachusetts license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner is required.
