For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.## About the Role:Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, the Director of Logistics is responsible for leading and optimization of Eos’s end-to-end logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, distribution, and network strategy. This role is responsible for proposing and executing scalable logistics solutions that support fast-paced growth, drive cost efficiencies, and elevate customer experience.## Accountable For:The Director of Logistics is responsible for implementing a long-term logistics roadmap that aligns with Eos’s short, medium, and long-term goals. This role will work to translate strategic priorities into actionable logistics and transportation initiatives. The Director of Logistics will drive the management of carrier performance, ensure reliable transportation, and implement cost savings initiatives. They will optimize the logistics network and route and mode selections. They will work to identify, implement, develop and drive accountability with 3PL and warehousing partners. They will build a high-performing logistics team and ensure the appropriate technologies are in place to drive both execution and continuous improvement efforts.## Responsibilities* Execute Eos’s logistics strategy and propose initiatives that align with business goals.* Lead initiatives in network optimization, capacity planning, and cost reduction.* Oversee domestic and international transportation operations (inbound & outbound / projects).* Drive relationships and negotiations with key 3PLs, carriers, freight forwarders, and other relevant logistics suppliers.* Guide the team on meeting or exceeding key KPIs (transportation safety, delivery/efficiency, quality, and cost-savings) and develop score-carding and reporting capabilities.* Oversee all off-facility warehouse and fulfillment operations.* Drive continuous improvement in warehousing efficiency, transportation optimization, and safety.* Implement technology and automation to enhance efficiency and operational capabilities.* Ensure compliance with local, federal, and international regulations as needed.* Manage logistics risks related to supply chain disruptions or macro-economic events.* Create a best-in-class logistics team and drive performance and development.* Facilitate communication between customers, internal cross-functional teams and logistics for optimized outcomes.* Establish trade compliance structure and best practices to drive results.* Optimize commercial strategy and planning for customer projects.* Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Demonstrated knowledge of legal regulations and logistics compliance.* Proven track record in logistics strategy development and execution.* Experience with implementation and optimization of ERP & TMS systems.* Strong analytical, project management, and change leadership skills.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.Education and Experience* Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field required.* MBA preferred.* Minimum of ten (10) years’ progressive experience in logistics operations and leadership.* Hazmat Certified preferred.Travel* Local Travel: 10-25%* Overnight/North America: 10-25%* Other International Travel## Working Conditions* Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body* Factory - The worker may be subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or exposure to chemicals. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, and gases. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats.
