The Facilities Technician is responsible for a variety of work in general maintenance, repair, and logistics of facility and equipment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies and performs repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks
• Performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment
• Keeps the grounds and common areas clean
• Delivers mail to Selma, Clovis, and Fresno offices on a daily basis or as needed
• Processes incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
• Performs electrical work
• Performs outside custodial duties as required
• Inspects facilities, systems, and their components for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs
• Assembles furniture and equipment for the purpose of providing items in working condition
• Assists with setup for company functions and activities
• Drives motorized vehicle on or off property for company business
• Uses both basic and power tools to assist in facilities maintenance and repair
• Covers facility manager as needed

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday FT (shift start times could range from 5:00am-9:30am)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of electronic circuitry and technical aspects of the operation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment
• Knowledge of current OSHA requirements
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Knowledge of color code conventions used in component and wiring marking
• Knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center testing requirements
• Ability to analyze, repair and test electronic and electromechanical equipment
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance inspections
• Ability to run diagnostic programs
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation
• Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests
• Skill in testing electronic equipment

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED
• Three to five-years related experience and/or technical school training
• OSHA 10 Certification within six months of obtaining position
• Current Valid California Driver’s License
• OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
