Job Summary:
An infusion registered nurse (RN) position is available in Robinson, Illinois. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care within the consulting and infusion department. The nurse will assess patients, administer medications, manage intravenous therapies, and educate patients and their families, ensuring high standards of care with minimal supervision.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Illinois RN license; BLS certification; ACLS certification; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification through the Oncology Nurse Society; at least 2 years of registered nurse experience; strong computer skills with the ability to navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) programs
• Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role requires managing antineoplastic agents and therapy following safety protocols, tailoring care to diverse patient needs, and adhering to documentation guidelines. The RN will assist with procedures, utilize specialty equipment, and participate in performance improvement activities.
