KerrSalary : up to $72,000.00, based on education and experienceFull Time /Part Time : Full TimeWork Schedule : Monday – FridayPrimary Hours : 8-5Position Description:Under the direction of the Director of Grant Management Office (GMO), Assistant Director of Grants Management Office, Grants Management Specialist IV, and OSDH leadership, this role serves as a Grant Management Office Specialist for both state and federal cross-cutting agency grants. The incumbent will assist in planning, development, and implementation of grant initiatives and will serve as a point of contact throughout the grant lifecycle. This position will ensure regular communication with key stakeholders and interested parties, monitor progress toward established objectives, and assist in overall grant management to ensure compliance with federal requirements and successful program outcomes.Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Support tasks across the full grant lifecycle, including application review, compliance, submission coordination, and documentation of awards and active contractsConduct invoice reviews and second-level reviews to ensure alignment with approved budgets, program goals, and regulatory requirementsApply working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) to routine grant activities and compliance reviewsPerform subrecipient monitoring activities, including desk reviews and support for site visitsCoordinate and support reporting requirements, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timelinessCommunicate with grantees and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide guidanceMaintain grant files and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance standardsParticipate in grant training and onboarding activities to build knowledge of grants management processes and regulationsStay current on grants management regulations and best practices, applying knowledge in daily workBeing present in the office is an essential function of this positionOther duties as assignedOther DutiesDemonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed. Proven success in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interpret, analyze, and resolve complex operational or business challenges. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365 platforms, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and other web-based applications.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employees are required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Employees must be willing to complete all job-related travel associated with this position.
