Job Summary:
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, Registered for a healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled professional to provide advanced respiratory care services. This role involves managing airway and ventilator support for pediatric, neonatal, and critically ill patients across various hospital units, including NICU and PICU. The therapist will function independently, perform complex procedures, and serve as a clinical resource.

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with experience in pediatric, NICU, and PICU settings
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information and technical procedures
  • Ability to document clinical information effectively
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients, physicians, family members, and staff
  • Mathematical skills including application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and establish solutions

• Additional Information:
  • May perform respiratory care and advanced procedures such as airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen and aerosol therapy, tracheostomy care, endotracheal intubations, and pulmonary function testing
