Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will develop software engineering solutions for Orion's Electrical Ground Support Equipment Software team. Required Skills:
• Expertise in C++
• Strong experience working with Linux
• Knowledge of Telemetry systems and processing
• Expertise with anomaly investigation and resolution
• Ability to apply logical thinking and creative problem-solving to develop, enhance, or troubleshoot software
• Willingness for off-hours support to ensure lab productivity
• Ability to contribute within a team-oriented environment to achieve long-range goals and objectives
• Solid written or verbal communication skills Desired Skills:
• Background in satellite operations
• Knowledgeable in Voice communication and Network communication
• Knowledgeable in Java, Python, and bash/csh
• Knowledgeable in Big Data
• Knowledgeable in OSComet
• Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
• Ability to assist users and lab managers with data analysis Typical Minimums:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
