The Certified Medical Assistant will primarily work in family care, adult, and pediatric care settings, providing high levels of direct patient interaction. This patient-facing role involves supporting clinical operations without the need for travel between multiple clinic locations, ensuring a focused and consistent presence in one healthcare environment.

13 Week Temp to Perm Position

Shift: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri (no weekends)

Family Medicine / Adult / Pediatric Outpatient setting is REQUIRED

Floating - Yes (to close sister facilities)

Fast Paced Clinic experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Manage and maintain medical records securely
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Provide clinical support during patient care
• Administer medications as directed
• Verify patient insurance information
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Uphold infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical assisting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification as Medical Assistant (MA-C)
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• CPR Certification
• Skill in vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with patient scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Strong communication and attention to detail
