This rewarding contract role offers the chance to provide exceptional care to both medically complex students and general education participants during Extended School Year (ESY) and enrichment programs.

Your expertise will ensure a safe and healthy school experience, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and families. The ideal candidate has a passion for school nursing and thrives in fast-paced, diverse settings.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Credentialed School Nurse certification (required)
• Strong assessment, triage, and care planning skills
• Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Comfortable working across multiple sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care and daily health support for students with complex medical needs during ESY
• Support general education students with medication administration, first aid, and routine health monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to create safe care plans
• Respond efficiently to health emergencies and communicate relevant updates
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state protocols

Schedules & Caseload:

• ESY: Medically complex students at a single high school, 7am-2pm on June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, July 14
• Gen Ed: Multiple school sites, 7am-2pm on July 20, July 24, July 27, July 29
