As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, delivering high-quality support to our medical staff and patients.

About the Role:

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team. This includes:

• Assisting Healthcare Providers: Providing direct patient care, taking vital signs, and preparing patients for exams

• Administrative Tasks: Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing electronic medical records

• Lab and Test Administration: Collecting and processing laboratory specimens, performing basic lab tests, and communicating results to healthcare providers

• Communication: Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide patient-centered care, including Vital Sign assessments, injections, and wound care

• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, test results, and treatment plans

• Lab and Test Administration: Collect, process, and transport laboratory specimens, perform basic lab tests, and communicate results to healthcare providers

• Teamwork: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective care delivery

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment , with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

• Excellent Communication and Patient-Centered Care Skills required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move patients as needed

Shift Details:

• SHIFTS: One main shift available, including evenings, and weekends

• Rotating Assignments: May be required to work in multiple areas of the facility
