PRN Direct Support Professional (DSP) – In-Home Services (IHS)

Schedule: PRN / As-Needed | Flexible Schedule

Wage: $17 - $20 per hour DOE

Blue Sky Inc. is currently looking for a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Individualized Home Supports (IHS) team in Moorhead, MN on a PRN (as-needed) basis.

This position is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, occasional hours while supporting individuals in their homes and communities. PRN staff help provide coverage when additional support is needed, including staff absences, schedule changes, vacations, or other open shifts.

What You'll Do

As an IHS Direct Support Professional, you will provide person-centered support based on each individual's needs, preferences, and goals. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting independence and skill development
• Providing assistance with household tasks and organization
• Supporting community activities, appointments, errands, and other activities as needed
• Providing transportation when required as part of scheduled services
• Encouraging individual choice, independence, and community involvement
• Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Completing required documentation and service notes accurately and on time
• Following each individual's support plan and all applicable company and Minnesota DHS requirements
• Providing coverage for open IHS shifts based on availability and program needs

Schedule

• PRN / As-Needed
• Hours and shifts will vary based on individual and program needs
• PRN employees may be contacted when shifts become available and can provide their availability for coverage

This position does not guarantee a specific number of hours each week

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Be dependable, patient, respectful, and comfortable working independently
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to complete required training and background study requirements
• Meet applicable Minnesota DHS requirements for providing direct support services
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Be able to communicate professionally with individuals served, families, guardians, coworkers, and other members of the support team
