Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN ER for a travel assignment in NY. This role involves working in a fast-paced emergency room environment, providing critical care to patients and undertaking various emergency procedures. The role entails night shifts, with responsibilities that may include floating to MS or ICU units.

Key Responsibilities of the RN ER

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations.
• Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Record observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered.
• Plan and develop care delivery and coordinate documentation of care.
• Sustain adequate supplies and preserve a safe environment in the unit.

Requirements of the RN ER

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (Mandatory)
• Vent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Good written and verbal communication skills
