Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in post-cath interventions, balloon pump management, and Impella support, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care for ICU patients, including post-cath interventions, balloon pump operation, and Impella management.
• Monitor patient vital signs, laboratory results, and clinical status to identify early signs of deterioration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards across all campuses.
• Float between campuses as required, supporting staffing needs and maintaining seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license; pending licenses will not be accepted.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, including cardiac care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-cath care, balloon pump management, and Impella devices.
• Be BLS and ACLS certified, with epic experience preferred.
• Be willing to float across all campuses and work day shifts (2x12 hours).
• Have recent travel experience and ability to comply with Tier 2 travel standards.
