Pay and Scheduling $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Weekly pay with direct deposit Consistent first or second shift assignments in Fort Wayne, IN Additional PRN opportunities available Qualifications High school diploma or GED At least one year of professional experience as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Caregiver, or home health professional Current CPR certification Physical examination and negative TB test completed within the past 12 months Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the position’s physical duties Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Strong communication skills and dependable attendance Commitment to client privacy and HIPAA compliance What You’ll Do Use your Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or Caregiver skills to support each client’s daily routines, comfort, and independence. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Provide companionship and emotional support. Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping. Assist with errands and approved activities. Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning. Perform range-of-motion exercises according to the care plan. Follow each client’s individualized plan of care. Document care accurately and report changes to the nurse case manager. Protect client dignity, privacy, and safety.
