Job SummaryOur automotive shop is growing, and Outten Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Hamburg is seeking Service Advisors to assist our clients and offering a sign-on bonus. As the face of Outten CDJR, you'll greet customers who need repairs and serve as their liaison with our auto technicians. You'll put your automotive knowledge to work to diagnose problems, write estimates for repair work, prepare repair orders, and answer customer questions. If you enjoy working with both people and cars and want to join a successful, family-owned business offering competitive wages and generous benefits, we'd love to speak to you about joining our team.Responsibilities and DutiesAscertain automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms or checking vehicle maintenance recordsVerify warranty and service contract coverage Develop accurate estimates while factoring in materials, supplies, labor, and deductibles Prepare easy to understand repair orders and enter them into our databaseMaintain customer rapport by relaying accurate and consistent information, answering questions, and arranging towing or temporary transportation Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Qualifications and SkillsPrevious experience at an automotive dealership in any role is strongly preferredA strong knowledge of cars and the willingness to learn moreStrong teamwork skills Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writingFriendly demeanor and excellent customer service skillsAttention to detailGood time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift at least 50 lbsThe desire to build a career in a progressive, growing companyAble to work nights and weekendsExperienceFamiliar with Auto/MateService Advisor experience is preferred but not required Salary and BenefitsCompetitive salary with opportunity for incentive bonusesCompetitive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans401k retirement planCompany sponsored life insurance policyState of the art, air-conditioned facility with a large client baseLunchroom with lots of amenities Paid trainingThe ability to achieve tenure with a company that recognizes and rewards outstanding employees Job Type: Full-Time Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly About Outten Chrysler Dodge Jeep RamOutten CDJR is a thriving family owned and operated car dealership in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
