Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Two references from a manager, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The role is for night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry. A Permanent Ohio license or a Compact State license is required at the time of submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months and cannot be from co-workers. The facility will not accept any traveler with an open background case. Candidates will undergo ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug test required within 12 months of starting. Permanent candidates cannot return to this facility for one year from their previous end date. Candidates may extend their contracts for an additional 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break.
