As a Senior Technical Product Manager for the UHC Technology Product & Benefit Administration team you will lead the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of technology capabilities that support how health plan products and benefits are configured, administered, and scaled across the enterprise. This role partners closely with business, operations, engineering, architecture, and compliance teams to translate complex product and benefit needs into clear requirements, actionable roadmaps, and reliable solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and consistency across benefit administration processes.This role has a direct impact on UHC's ability to bring products to market efficiently, reduce administrative complexity, and improve the experience for members, providers, clients, and internal teams. By connecting business outcomes with technical execution, the Technical Product Manager will help modernize core platforms, strengthen operational performance, and ensure benefit capabilities are delivered with quality, transparency, and measurable value.Primary Responsibilities:Designs, develops, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifeResponsible for the full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition productsLeverage market insights to understand market/customer needs as well as emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or adjust current product offeringsBalances deep subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and strong technical aptitudeAccountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needsResponsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practicesPositions in this function may require a background or degree in computer science or engineeringGenerally, work is self-directed and not prescribedWorks with less structured, more complex issuesServes as a resource for othersWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
