BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our outstanding and compassionate team in New Port Richey! Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health New Port Richey Location: New Port Richey, FL Status: Full‑Time, Exempt: Yes Shift Hours: Varies Weekend Work: None On Call: No The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for: Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each patient. Conducting case management activities and discharge planning, and maintaining appropriate documentation. Providing therapeutic and educational interventions, services, and being knowledgeable about community resources. Performing other duties as assigned. This role requires a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field. Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) Driver’s License Driver’s License LMFT (Marriage and Family), LMHC (Mental Health) or LCSW (Social Work) Preferred: Master’s in Social Work, Psychology or related field Experience: 2 years of clinical experience or 9‑month internship. Required: 1 year of relevant experience with a Master’s degree This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
