Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of strong Java development experience along with some hands-on exposure to Blockchain technologies. Candidates with strong Java expertise and relevant Blockchain experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Develop and implement enterprise-level applications using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Work on Blockchain-related applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.
• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
• Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, particularly in Java and Blockchain.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experience developing enterprise-level applications.
• Good understanding of Spring/Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and design principles
• Some hands-on experience or working knowledge of Blockchain technology.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ.

Preferred Blockchain Experience

Experience with any of the following will be a plus:

• Blockchain architecture and concepts
• Distributed ledger technology (DLT)
• Smart contracts
• Blockchain-based applications
• Ethereum or other Blockchain platforms
• Blockchain integration with Java applications
