Sr. Drupal Developer # of Hires Needed 1 Date Needed By 2/12/2026 Category Information Technology Education Associate Degree Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Job Type Full-time Location CTAC HQ - Falls Church, VA 22042 US (Primary) Travel 0 - 10% Job Description CTAC is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to architect, build, and maintain customized Drupal applications at scale. The successful candidate will have deep experience with Drupal module and theme development, system integration, application security, and performance optimization, along with a strong understanding of data modeling across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end. This role requires comfort operating beyond feature implementation. The Senior Drupal Developer will contribute to architectural decisions, develop and maintain custom modules and themes, and help guide technical direction for client solutions. A strong understanding of the LAMP or LEMP stack is required. Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies is a plus, as CTAC operates on a two-week sprint cycle. The candidate will work closely with a government client and internal teams to design, implement, and deploy Drupal solutions that are secure, scalable, and maintainable. The Senior Drupal Developer will collaborate with other developers and a Project Manager/Scrum Master to ensure project success. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in daily stand-ups, contributing to sprint planning, reporting progress, identifying risks, and supporting teammates. The candidate must be comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, documenting architectural decisions and edge cases, and actively participating in code reviews. - Acquia Certified Developer (or equivalent)
- Interest or experience integrating AI services
