Position Overview Looking for a part-time job that provides meaningful work and competitive compensation? Consider a position in a State Farm Agent's office. Responsibilities Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. Compensation Hourly pay plus commission/bonus. Compensation: $12‑$14 per hour plus significant commission. Potential of $30K+ in year 1. Requirements Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows Ability to multi-task Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain) Must be available to work the following schedule: Monday, Tues, Wed, Friday 10am to 5pm Associate's degree or higher preferred We are located in Chicago, IL.
