Your Role As a GenslerArchitect, you will collaborate with our design team to develop innovative design solutions and coordinate design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will translate architect sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images, research artistic or technical issues as they arise, and use your technical acumen and Revit skills to drive client projects from concept through build in a collaborative team. What You Will Do Collaborate with our Sports team to deliver informed project solutions based on market expertise and an understanding of client goals. Coordinate documentation with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.). Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants. Resolve complex technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, constructible solutions. Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks. Manage delivery of documents with design intent and top‑quality technical content. Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs. Interface with building and permitting officials during permitting and construction phases. Participate in and contribute to the financial performance of the project. Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Design Manager. Establish and maintain productive client relationships. Your Qualifications Licensed Architect or NCIDQ certification required. Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program. 5‑10years of related experience, including demonstrated success and/or interest working on sports projects. Strong proficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software. Full knowledge of architectural principles and practices. Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures. Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post‑occupancy. Ability to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development. Strategic, integrated thinker with a holistic approach to design, management, and technical project resolution. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $76,000–$110,000 for Washington, D.C., plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
