Sr. Director Operations

This highly visible leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational strategy, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring best-in-class performance across warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and customer service functions.The ideal candidate is an accomplished operations executive with deep experience in high-volume distribution environments, a strong financial acumen, and a track record of building high-performing teams while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute operational strategies to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Lead all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and delivery performance.Drive operational excellence through Lean principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and data-driven performance management. Manage operational budgets, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives while maintaining service excellence. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver business results. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, engagement, and leadership development across the organization.Build, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams while driving employee engagement and succession planning.What We're Looking For10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, or related operations environments. Proven experience managing large-scale operations with significant workforce responsibility. Strong P&L management, budgeting, financial analysis, and operational planning capabilities. Experience implementing KPIs and driving performance through operational metrics and accountability. Knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems (WMS/TMS). Lean, continuous improvement, and process optimization experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and lead teams through growth and change.
