CT Technologist

Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. The CT Technologist can perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. Assumes responsibility for designated areas as assigned. The Technologist operates CT equipment, prepares and administers contrast media, performs intravenous contrast injections, and operates X-ray equipment. Prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications. Responsible for quality control and enforcement of standards, ethics, policies, and procedures of the designated area. Supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department.
