Project Manager – IT Security & Privacy
Location: Rochester Hills, MI 48309
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – at least 1 day onsite per week
Duration: August 31, 2026 – January 2, 2027
Pay Rate: $48/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Possibility of Conversion: Yes

Job Summary
Project Managers to support IT Security and Privacy projects . The Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex initiatives from planning through implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, managing risks, and communicating progress to leadership.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT Security and Privacy projects.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, deliverables, resources, risks, and contingency plans.
• Manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Establish project priorities and monitor project status.
• Provide regular written and verbal updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Communicate project milestones, risks, findings, recommendations, and overall progress.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and challenges.
• Assess current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Support governance, compliance, and infrastructure alignment.
• Lead change management initiatives and support organizational adoption.
• Conduct post-implementation evaluations and drive continuous improvement.
• Support decision-making by providing project analysis and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience .
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience working in healthcare, research, IT, security, privacy, or a related environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within established timelines.
• Must currently reside in Michigan .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing IT Security, Information Security, or Privacy projects .
• Healthcare project management experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance environments.
• PMP or other project management certification.
