Chief of Staff

Our client is a fast-growing AI B2B enterprise startup seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as the CEO's operational right hand — owning the highest-priority initiatives end-to-end and acting as a force multiplier for a solo technical founder.

This is a high-ownership, generalist role for someone who has either founded a startup, transitioned from consulting or IB into early-stage, or operated through a critical growth inflection — with a clear spike in GTM or product.

What You'll Do

• Own the CEO's highest-priority initiatives end-to-end — product launches, growth strategy, fundraising support, and customer research
• Lead cross-functional projects across product and GTM that don't fit neatly into one team's lane
• Run the company's operating cadence — planning cycles, metrics reviews, burn rate calculations, people ops, and hiring pipelines
• Build scalable systems and processes that create leverage — from compliance (Vanta) to commission structures to AI tooling
• Conduct customer interviews, synthesize insights, and drive rapid product iteration
• Support major company launches including script writing, vendor management, storyboarding, and cross-functional coordination

Key Requirements

• 2–7 years in startup operations, product, or GTM roles
• Startup background is non-negotiable — founded a startup OR worked at an early-stage company
• Fits one of three archetypes: ex-founder who raised money or got into an accelerator; consulting or IB background who moved into early-stage; operator who lived an early- stage scaling moment (Seed to Series A or Series A to Series B)
• Generalist with a clear spike in GTM/sales or product
• AI-native — has worked with or on applied AI preferred
• Prior Chief of Staff, operations, or founder's right-hand role preferred
• Degree from a top university
