Software Developer (Java Backend) with DevOps

Role: Software Developer (Java Backend) with DevOps
Location: Cupertino, CA / San Diego CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience: 8+ Years
Preferred Background
Apple, PayPal, Netflix, Meta, AWS, Product Companies, Startups in prior projects.
Avoid candidates from Banking, Finance, Telecom, Healthcare, Insurance, Wells Fargo, CVS, and similar organizations
Note:: Resume should not more then 5-6 pages.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Strong command of at least one of Java, Python , JavaScript, or Go
- Experience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Preferred
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Databases and middleware - Postgres, Kafka, Redis
- Big data stack - data warehousing, MPP, Spark, Flink
- Micro-service architecture and service mesh
- UI development experience
