Family Solicitor / Legal Executive Job Description & Person Specification Location: Taunton Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Department: Family Reports To: Edward Judge - Senior Partner Job Summary Risdons Solicitors are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Solicitor to join our reputable Taunton branch. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of family law matters including Divorce and separation Financial Remedy proceedings Private children matters Cohabitation disputes Domestic abuse applications Pre and post-nuptial agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family solicitor to join a supportive and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of family law matters from start to finish Conduct face to face client meetings Provide excellent legal advice to clients Draft and review legal documents, agreements and court applications Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings where appropriate Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and SRA regulations Maintain high standards of client care and build long-lasting client relationships Contribute to business development and networking initiatives as required Qualifications / Experience Proven experience in probate and estate administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks A team player with a positive and service orientated attitude Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Working Conditions Office environment with occasional travel to other locations for support.
