Job Details Japanese Bilingual Accounting Manager - Houston, TX Position Japanese Bilingual Accounting Manager Industry Energy Location Houston, TX Salary 130-160K/year (DOE) Status Full Time/Direct Hire Work Style Hybrid Ref # #33483 Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost analyses Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Review financial information and accounting transactions for accuracy Support financial reporting and consolidation for subsidiaries Perform variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial modeling Support income tax provision calculations, tax reconciliations, and tax-related projects Maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial documentation in accordance with US GAAP Coordinate with subsidiaries, external accounting/tax firms, and internal finance teams Support external audits and technical accounting research Participate in BPR, system implementation, and finance process improvement initiatives Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership and HQ Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects Qualifications Strong US GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and accounting/ERP system experience Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently and cross-functionally 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Preferred: CPA/CMA, SAP or similar ERP/consolidation system experience, budgeting/forecasting experience Language: Business-level English; Japanese proficiency strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Top-Us
