This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for either Certified School Nurses (CSNs) or CSN students who have completed the required BSN and PEL endorsement—please note, candidates must meet these specific requirements as this is not a traditional RN or LPN position. You will primarily oversee the health office, perform thorough medical reviews, and actively participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings. Working hours are from 8:25am–3:40pm, aligned to the school calendar through late May 2027. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the health office, serving as the point person for student health concerns Conduct detailed medical reviews and ensure up-to-date records Offer direct health support to students throughout the school day Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing professional insights and updates Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system Provide occasional personal care assistance to students as needed Desired Qualifications: BSN with a Professional Educator License (PEL) and endorsement for Certified School Nurse (CSN) Enrollment in or completion of CSN coursework (1–2 years) Strong computer literacy; comfortable with electronic documentation Proven independence and initiative, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively Bilingual abilities in Spanish are a notable advantage Flexibility, dependability, and a positive, team-oriented outlook Commitment to reliable attendance and continuity of care This is your chance to make a lasting impact on students’ school experience as part of a caring and energetic faculty.
