Caregiver Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you'll play an essential role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing:

• Meaningful companionship and conversation
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Light housekeeping and household organization
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linen changes
• Medication reminders
• Transportation and errands as needed
• Assistance with clothing and personal care routines
• Open communication with clients, families, and office staff
• Compassionate support that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being

Additional Expectations

• Accurately document care provided according to company guidelines
• Complete required timesheets and service logs
• Report any significant changes in a client's condition promptly
• Follow all Senior Helpers policies, procedures, and training standards

Qualifications

✔ Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors
✔ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
✔ Ability to pass a criminal background check prior to employment
