Cancer Registry Specialist

Collects, assesses, interprets, classifies, and records various data from medical records of cancer patients to meet requirements for certification of the cancer program.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

One of the following:

• Associate Degree in Cancer Registry Management
• Completion of 60 hours of College-Level Courses, including six college credit hours in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) by the National Cancer Registration Association (NCRA) within 36 months of placement in position
